Minutes of May 6, 2008

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by  Vice-President Howard. The minutes to the May 6, 2008 meeting were read and approved.

The discussion of allowing handgun caliber carbines at the range was continued from last month. After much discussion the following rule change was proposed:
"Marion County Fish and Game allows the sighting in of rifles in the calibers of 38 special, 357 magnum, 44 special, and 44 magnum, provided that the rifles are fired from a bench rest at paper targets."
The motion was seconded and approved by a vote of 4 to 3. The rule change will take effect immediately.

New Business:

A motion was made and approved to accept 17 new members.

Having no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
